How does a Nipper Mobile robot work?

Low, smart forks
The Nipper Mobile Robots are equipped with new, smart forks that are only 88 millimeters in height. Meaning that low products, such as disposable pallets, can easily be lifted. Thanks to the safety scanner that is installed in the fork nose, pallets can be detected in a quick and smart way. Upon entering the pallet, the scanner data is processed, and the Nipper Mobile Robot adjusts its route accordingly in one smooth motion, without stopping.
360° safety scanner
The safety scanners on Nipper Mobile Robots provide 360-degree visibility around the AGV/AMR and its load. This 360° safety feature makes Nipper Mobile Robots safe in every direction of travel. They therefore comply with the ISO 3691-4 safety standard for AGV vehicles.
Human-Robot interaction
The status of the Mobile Robot is visible at a glance. Employees can immediately see what the robot is doing or about to do. The AGV/AMR detects employees and then communicates this visually via a full LED bar. This makes employees feel safe working with and around the AGV, which increases acceptance of the project. The basis for successful automation!
Control screen
The full-color, multi-touch control screen provides a clear overview of the status of the Mobile Robot. The robot can be operated manually via the screen if necessary. The HMI is available in multiple languages as standard.

Easy integration
No infrastructure such as induction wires, magnets, or reflectors. Nipper Mobile Robots use natural structures in the environment as references for navigation. In addition, our Mobile Robots are easy to integrate into existing business software.

Nipper Mobile Robots can transport various carriers. Not only pallets made of all kinds of materials such as wood, cardboard, plastic, or metal, but also crates (wood and plastic), mesh containers (metal), and cages.
Contactless and fast charging
The Nipper Charging Station works quickly and contactlessly. The AGV/AMR automatically drives to the charging station when there are no missions and when the battery is empty. When a new mission is available, the charging process is automatically deactivated.
