Production team leader

What are you going to do
In this versatile position, you will be responsible for coordinating work in our production and managing a team of mechanics. You will monitor planning, ensure efficient execution of projects and apply your technical expertise to complex issues. In addition, you are involved in work preparation, quality control of goods received, testing of the machines produced and you enjoy working on the assembly of large orders. You actively think about product improvements and monitor production planning to ensure our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading the team in the workshop and creating a positive and productive work atmosphere
- Plan and coordinate work such as assembly and testing and validating systems for delivery to customers
- Perform work preparation and ensure efficient set-up of processes
- Quality control of goods received and identifying possible deviations
- Solving technical problems and supporting in the assembly of large orders
- Thinking along about product improvements and process optimizations
- Maintaining production planning and ensuring timely deliveries
- Monitoring quality, safety and compliance with procedures
- Consult with other departments, such as engineering and project management, to ensure progress and quality
Who we are looking for
- A completed MBO or HBO education in a technical field, such as Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical position, preferably in a managerial role
- Practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Good communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Proactive attitude and eye for detail
- Command of the Dutch and English language
