What are you going to do
In this position, you will be the face of Nipper to our customers. You will help them automate and improve their internal logistics with innovative mobile robots, smart techniques for pallet and product handling, and high-tech packaging installations. We are growing rapidly and will take you step by step into the world of automation and end-of-line solutions.
You will be involved in advising customers, seizing new commercial opportunities, recording agreements, and supporting activities on site. You will also learn to conduct Gemba walks, so that you really understand what happens on the work floor and which solutions are appropriate.
Your duties will include:
- Advising customers and prospects, maintaining relationships, and actively pursuing new opportunities.
- Preparing visit reports and advisory reports, and recording agreements and progress in our ERP system.
- Performing (or learning to perform) Gemba walks to understand customer processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting commercial activities such as customer visits, on-site testing, and participation in trade fairs.
- Contributing ideas on how to further improve and professionalize our sales process.
What do you bring to the table?
- You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking, whereby motivation and learning ability are more important than your diplomas;
- You are interested in sales and account management and want to develop yourself in this area;
- You have strong communication skills, are customer-oriented, and are good at listening, asking questions and explaining things clearly is important.
- You work in a structured manner and carefully record agreements;
- You have a good command of Dutch and English;
- You are interested in customer processes at manufacturing companies and logistics service providers (we are happy to teach you the technical content).
- You have a proactive, flexible, and collegial attitude.
Nice to have, but not a must:
- Experience in a commercial role.
- Knowledge of Gemba, Lean, or Kaizen.
